Born on April 15, 1954 in l’Assomption, located in the region of Lanaudière, Quebec, living now in St-Hyacinthe, Michel discover early in his life a true passion for drawing and painting.  In its early twenties, he began his career as a commercial artist, then life took him to a different professional path that allowed him to make a living and take care of his family.  While going through these challenges, he kept nurturing his unexpressed passion for the arts in general and painting in particular.

A powerful passion needs to express itself, and at the dawn of his fifties, it is with a profound desire for life that the artist translates his view of the world through his painting.

Self-made, the artist grew by reading, studying everything related to painting in Quebec, his passion.  His undefeated will to go further, make him travel the Quebec country side to find the sparks of inspiration that make a difference and bring you there when your eyes cross his arts.
